Balrampur | October 5, 2026: An important meeting was organized at the M.L.K.P.G. College Auditorium in Balrampur on Sunday to ensure the successful organization of the upcoming Navratri, Shri Durga Puja, Shriramleela, and Dussehra festivals. The meeting was presided over by senior advocate Raj Kumar Srivastava.
The gathering included the President of the Ideal Municipal Council, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’, officials from various puja committees, local representatives, and administrative officers. Sadar MLA Paltu Ram attended as the chief guest.
Key Arrangements and Security Measures Outlined
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding arrangements for the upcoming festivals in the city. Key points included cleanliness, drinking water supply, lighting, traffic management, and most importantly, security arrangements.
Sadar MLA Paltu Ram stated that festivals are symbols of faith and social unity, urging all organizing committees to celebrate harmoniously with the administration. He assured that robust security arrangements would be in place during the festivals, with no compromises.
Basic Facilities and Public Convenience Prioritized
Municipal Council President Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’ emphasized that basic facilities would be prioritized near puja pandals and major event venues to ensure the comfort of devotees. He assured that the Municipal administration would coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manoj Kumar and Circle Officer Nagar Abhishek Singh were also present. Committee officials presented their issues and suggestions, with the administration pledging appropriate action and resolution for all concerns.
