Journalists Recognized for Social Contributions

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded the efforts of journalists across the state for their work in social concerns and public service. In a notable gesture, he personally sent special letters to two journalists from Farrukhabad, Surya Bajpai of News 18 and Rishi Sengar of Sudarshan News, to appreciate their endeavors.

The Chief Minister highlighted that journalists like Surya Bajpai serve as a crucial link between the most vulnerable members of society and the government, effectively conveying people's issues to the appropriate platforms.

The letter, issued on October 2, 2026, also referenced the significant positive changes in the state's law and order situation since 2017. He emphasized the importance of social participation in ensuring that benefits of schemes for the poor, elderly, disabled, women, youth, and farmers reach the intended beneficiaries.

CM Adityanath expressed confidence that Surya Bajpai's spirit of service and sensitivity will further strengthen the journey towards building a developed Uttar Pradesh. He underscored that suggestions from social workers are invaluable to the government, especially under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

District Administration Conveys Appreciation

Similarly, senior journalist and Sudarshan News District Correspondent Rishi Sengar also received a special letter from the Chief Minister. Dr. Ankur Lathar, the District Magistrate of Farrukhabad, and SP Aarti Singh jointly presented this letter to Rishi Sengar.

This recognition is seen as an acknowledgment of his continuous efforts in the fields of journalism and social engagement. The Chief Minister's letter expressed wishes for the honor, safety, and better opportunities for all citizens of the state, reflecting his deep commitment to public welfare.

This commendation from the Chief Minister is a significant recognition for journalists who go beyond mere news gathering to actively participate in societal upliftment and disseminating public welfare schemes to the masses. The letter underscores how local journalists act as a bridge, facilitating government initiatives at the grassroots level and conveying the voice of the common populace to the government.

The Chief Minister specifically acknowledged the efforts of journalists who help bridge the gap between government policies and the expectations of the common man. The letter also detailed how the Uttar Pradesh government has been consistently committed to strengthening law and order and accelerating development since 2017.

Numerous welfare schemes were implemented during this period aimed at improving the lives of the poor, underprivileged, farmers, women, youth, and disabled individuals. CM Adityanath stated that the successful implementation of these schemes is not solely possible through government efforts but also significantly relies on active societal participation, particularly from journalists and social workers.

Their suggestions and feedback prove instrumental in making government policies more effective. The appreciation letters received by journalists like Surya Bajpai and Rishi Sengar serve as proof that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath values the work of journalists connected to ground realities at the local level.

This serves not only as an encouragement for individual journalists but will also inspire other journalists in the state to further strengthen their commitment to public service and social concerns. It highlights how the media can be a powerful catalyst for social change and development, not just a medium of information.
