Swamitva Scheme Campaign Underway in Dahod
A comprehensive campaign is being conducted in the rural areas of Dahod district to spread awareness about the 'Swamitva Scheme'. Under the direction of Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav, Tehsildar Ashutosh Gupta and Nayab Tehsildar Atal Verma have reached out to villagers, informing them about the objectives and application process of this significant scheme.
Granting Legal Property Ownership to Rural Families
The primary objective of this initiative is to systematically survey rural land and provide eligible families with legal ownership rights to their property. Through the Swamitva Scheme, villagers will receive a definitive proof of land ownership, known as a 'Property Card'.
Property Cards: Key to Loans and Dispute Resolution
This card will not only establish their legitimate right to the land but will also be immensely helpful in obtaining bank loans in the future or resolving property-related disputes. These records, prepared at the Gram Panchayat level, will also play a crucial role in planning and implementing development works in rural areas. Officials emphasized that the Property Card will be an extremely important document for villagers. Through it, they can easily obtain bank loans by mortgaging their property, thereby improving their economic condition. Moreover, clear ownership is expected to reduce property disputes, fostering harmony in rural communities.
Apply via E-Seva App for Home Delivery of Property Rights
To ensure the smooth delivery of the scheme's benefits, officials have appealed to villagers to complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) process on time. Eligible beneficiaries can now complete their registry-related application process from home via the 'MP E-Seva App'. Officials also explained the step-by-step process of using this digital app in detail, so villagers can easily avail its benefits. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to ensure that no eligible villager is deprived of government facilities and that property records in rural areas become completely transparent and organized.
