A delegation of six BJP MLAs met with the Chief Minister in Lucknow to plead for humanitarian assistance for these homeless families. This situation presents a major challenge for the local administration, highlighting the need to balance development plans with humanitarian concerns. The delegation, led by Manakapur MLA Ramapati Shastri, included Bavan Singh, Prem Narayan Pandey, Vinay Kumar Dwivedi, Prabhat Kumar Verma, and Ajay Kumar Singh.
In a letter submitted to the Chief Minister, the MLAs urged for immediate provision of housing under the Chief Minister's Housing Scheme, land leases, and appropriate compensation for the displaced families of Nagwa village. This development has increased pressure on the local administration to take swift action for the rehabilitation of those affected, ensuring that government schemes reach all needy individuals and no citizen is left homeless.
