Questions Swirl Over Private School Inspection in Gonda
Serious questions are being raised about the functioning of the education department concerning the operation of an alleged unauthorized private school in Patijiya Buzurg, under the Chhapia education block of Gonda district. Despite continuous complaints from complainant Shivkumar, the investigation report submitted by the department faces local skepticism.
The Block Education Officer of Chhapia, Mahendra Kumar, claimed in his report that the school has been shut down, but this assertion is also being contested. Official records indicate that Kusum Shukla Kushagra Academy was inspected on August 21, 2026. At that time, the school was reportedly ordered to close and send children home due to the absence of recognition documents.
Subsequent inspections on September 9 and September 29, 2026, also found the school closed, as stated in the investigation reports, which claim to include geo-tagged photos. A primary point of contention is why the department did not take decisive action from the outset if the school was indeed unauthorized from the beginning.
The complainant has alleged collusion within the department and demanded an independent investigation into the matter.

The event was conducted by District General Secretary Rakesh Tiwari and served as an expression of respect for the Prime Minister's extensive tenure in public service.
Three Arrested in Sickle Attack Case in Gonda
In a separate development, the Kotwali Dehat police have successfully apprehended three accused in a case of a life-threatening assault. The complainant, Anil Kumar, reported to the police that during a dispute involving a sickle, the accused identified as Nazma alias Shahjah, Dildar, and Mahfuz assaulted his father, Hariram.
It is alleged that the accused pressed the victim Hariram's neck and struck his head against a wall, causing serious injuries. The complainant stated that he also sustained injuries while attempting to intervene. The police immediately registered a case and took all three named accused into custody from their residences.
Following the completion of necessary legal procedures, the accused have been presented before the court. This swift action by the police is being viewed as a message reinforcing law and order in the region.
Collectively, these three incidents in Gonda district have once again fueled discussions on the administrative vigilance and the operational efficiency of various departments. The case concerning the private school highlights systemic flaws in the education sector, while the other two incidents underscore the prevailing law and order situation.
