India Alliance Gears Up for Protests in Guna

The India Alliance convened a crucial meeting in Guna on October 19, 2026, at the Samrat Hotel to strategize for upcoming movements. The central demand of these protests will be the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

Presided over by former cabinet minister and Raghavgarh MLA Jayavardhan Singh, with Bamori MLA Rishi Agarwal as the special guest, the meeting aimed to implement resolutions like 'Unite India, Save Democracy, and Guna Progresses' at the grassroots level. Intensive discussions were held on critical issues including the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the rollback of SIR (Specific Information Request).

Broadening Support and Mobilization

The India Alliance leadership unanimously decided to actively involve other political parties, various public organizations, and social activists who agree with these key demands. The objective is to garner widespread public support for the planned movements.

The alliance's unity and agenda were reinforced by the participation of district heads and senior officials from the Indian National Congress, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena, and various left-wing parties, including the Communist Party of India.

Upcoming Rally and National Participation

The coalition has agreed to organize a large rally in Guna city on October 26. This rally will prominently highlight the demands for the Chief Election Commissioner's resignation and the withdrawal of SIR, aiming to attract public attention and pressure the government.

Beyond the local rally, the India Alliance plans to participate in a national rally scheduled for November 1 in Delhi as the next phase of their protest strategy. A significant number of activists from Guna are expected to join the Delhi rally, signaling a national push for their demands.

Commitment to Democracy and Public Interest

India Alliance leaders reiterated their commitment to vocally advocate for the protection of democracy and crucial public interest issues in the coming days. This meeting is considered a pivotal step in shaping future political activities, with an agreement to strengthen local unity and intensify public outreach campaigns.
