Lifetime Achievement Award for P.V. Rajagopal
Renowned Gandhian thinker and International Coordinator of Ekta Parishad, P.V. Rajagopal, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his years of dedicated social service and philanthropic lifestyle.
The prestigious award ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Mishr Vatika in Jaura. Senior leader of the socialist movement and former MLA, Gautam Sagar, will grace the event as the chief guest.
This significant event is being organized by the Pandit Ramcharan Lal Mishra Smriti Nyas to commemorate the 111th birth anniversary of its founder trustee and former MLA, Maheshdatt Mishra. The jury constituted by the trust selected P.V. Rajagopal for this esteemed award, a decision the trust has gladly accepted.
The award will be presented to the President of Mahatma Gandhi Seva Ashram, Jaura. P.V. Rajagopal has made significant contributions to peace and all-round development in the Chambal region, where he has been actively involved since the establishment of the Mahatma Gandhi Seva Ashram.
His role was particularly decisive during the mass dacoit self-surrender in Jaura. Carrying forward the legacy of the Gandhi Ashram's founder, the late Dr. S.N. Subbarao, Rajagopal has dedicated his entire life to serving this region. His work and the ideals he has established have brought a new identity and prestige to the Chambal region on an international level.
Numerous Gandhian activists from across the country and distinguished personalities from various fields will attend this prestigious ceremony, signifying the national presence of Gandhian workers. This event organized by the Nyas is a medium to express gratitude for Rajagopal's lifelong service.
