Citizens Pledge for Developed India in Damoh
The district of Damoh hosted the 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' and 'Developed India Sankalp Sabha' as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026' on Wednesday. The primary objective of this initiative was to spread the message of service and nation-building among the citizens.
A significant aspect of the program highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life as both Chief Minister and Prime Minister, shedding light on his contributions. During the event, State Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the necessity of every citizen's contribution towards achieving the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.
Focus on Youth and National Goals
Minister Lodhi particularly urged the youth to prioritize national interest and fulfill their social responsibilities alongside their education. He stressed that collective effort is crucial for national progress.
Member of Parliament Rahul Singh Lodhi stated that countrymen are moving forward with the resolve of 'We Will Do It' to achieve the goal of a developed India set by Prime Minister Modi for 2047. MLA Jayant Malaiya lauded the Prime Minister's service period as exemplary, recalling his work during challenging times as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Hatta MLA Uma Devi Khatik praised the steps taken by the Prime Minister for women's empowerment and development. BJP District President Shyam Shivhare remarked that under the Prime Minister's capable leadership, India has established a new and strong identity in the fields of security and self-reliance.
Community Engagement and Development Insights
Senior officials from the district administration, a large number of public representatives, and common citizens were present at the occasion. A 'District Development Booklet' was distributed during the program.
Additionally, all attendees attentively listened to a virtual address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reiterated their commitment to nation-building.
