Inside Gauri Khan’s Mumbai Restaurant Torii: A ‘Secret Door’ for Shah Rukh Khan and Family

Gauri Khan’s upscale Mumbai restaurant, Torii, has become a hotspot not just for its luxe Asian cuisine but also for its exclusive clientele—especially her own family. In a recent interview , head chef Stefan Gadit revealed a fascinating detail: the restaurant has a ‘secret door’ reserved exclusively for Shah Rukh Khan and their children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam.

🔒 The Secret Entrance for the Khans

According to Gadit, the special entrance is strictly limited to the Khan family and a handful of celebrities. “Not everybody has access to the secret doorway; it’s for the Khans,” he shared. This discreet entry ensures privacy for one of India’s most famous families whenever they choose to dine in.

🍽️ What the Khans Love to Eat at Torii

  • Shah Rukh Khan is fond of the lamb chops.
  • Gauri Khan prefers the Thai curry.
  • AbRam, the youngest, loves the sushi.
  • Suhana and Aryan are known to hang out at the restaurant with friends.

Chef Gadit also mentioned that when the family can’t visit, they often order food home—with little AbRam being a frequent customer.

Recently, the restaurant hosted a private celebration for Shah Rukh’s manager, Pooja Dadlani’s birthday, further confirming the family’s close connection to the space.
