Suniel Shetty’s Angry Outburst at Mimicry Artist Goes Viral

Actor Suniel Shetty has gone viral on social media after a video captured his fiery reaction to a mimicry artist attempting to imitate him at an event. The incident left the audience stunned, as the usually calm star openly scolded the performer for what he called a “cheap” imitation.

Suniel Shetty Lashes Out

In the video, Shetty can be seen visibly upset as he directly addresses the performer:

“Tab se yeh bhaisahab alag alag dialogues bol rahe hain jo meri awaaz mein hain hi nahi. Itna ghatiya mimicry maine kabhi dekha hi nahi hai. Jab Suniel Shetty bolta hai toh ek mard ki tarah bolta hai… Yeh bachche ki tarah bol raha tha. Beta jab mimicry karte ho toh achi karni chahiye… Kharab nakal nahi karni chahiye.”

(Translation: This person has been speaking dialogues in a voice that’s not mine at all. I’ve never seen such bad mimicry. When Suniel Shetty speaks, he speaks like a man… but this sounded childish. Son, when you mimic, do it well, don’t do poor imitations.)

Artist’s Apology and Suniel’s Warning

The young artist quickly apologised, saying he was not intentionally trying to mimic Shetty. But the actor doubled down, warning him:

“Koshish karna bhi mat beta. Abhi bahut time hai Suniel Shetty banne mein. Peeche bal bandha ne kuch nahi hota… Abhi bacha hai, lagta hai Suniel Shetty ki action films dekhi nahi hai isne.”

(Translation: Don’t even try, son. You have a long way to go before becoming Suniel Shetty. Just tying your hair doesn’t make you one… looks like you haven’t watched my action films.)

Audience Reaction

After the exchange, Shetty turned back to the crowd, thanking them for attending. However, his sharp words quickly became the talking point online. Some users called his reaction “too harsh,” while others felt he was simply defending his identity and legacy.

Suniel Shetty’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Shetty will next appear in Welcome To The Jungle, a comedy-drama directed by Ahmed Khan, alongside Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani. The film is slated for release later this year. He will also reunite with Akshay Kumar in the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3, directed by Priyadarshan.

The actor recently also paid tribute to India’s soldiers in an emotional gesture, saluting the nation’s bravehearts with pride.
