The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has officially inaugurated its new office complex, Keshav Kunj, at Jhandewalan in New Delhi. Spanning five lakh square feet across four acres, the modern facility was built at a cost of ₹150 crore, entirely funded through public donations from 75,000 contributors.
Designed to support the RSS’s expanding work, the complex features three towers—Sadhana, Prerana, and Archana—housing 300 rooms, offices, conference halls, and auditoriums. While Sadhana serves as the organizational hub, Prerana and Archana function as residential complexes.
The premises include a Hanuman temple, a five-bed hospital, and a library named Keshav Pustakalaya on the 10th floor for research purposes. Three large auditoriums, including one named after former VHP president Ashok Singhal, collectively accommodate over 1,300 people. The facility also offers canteen services, landscaped lawns, and parking for up to 270 vehicles.
Sustainability was a key focus in the construction, with 1,000 granite frames replacing the need for wood, and architectural facades inspired by Rajasthan and Gujarat. The RSS had been operating from the Udaseen Ashram in Jhandewalan for the past eight years before shifting to the newly built headquarters.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to host the Karyakarta Milan at Keshav Kunj on February 19, ahead of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha Baithak, the Sangh’s highest decision-making meeting, in Bengaluru from March 21-23.
