Lalit Modi, the founder and former chairman of the IPL, has once again made headlines with his love life. Taking to Instagram, Modi shared a video montage featuring his new partner, though he chose to keep her identity under wraps. The post revealed that their bond began as a 25-year-long friendship, which has now blossomed into love.

Lucky Once – Yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25-year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #happyvalentinesday to you all,” Modi wrote in the caption, setting the montage to the classic song Love Is in the Air by John Paul Young. The video showcased a mix of old and recent moments between the couple, hinting at their deep-rooted connection.

Lalit Modi’s Relationship History

Modi was previously married to Minal Modi, with whom he tied the knot in 1991. Their marriage lasted until Minal’s passing in 2018 after a battle with cancer.

In 2022, Modi made waves when he announced his relationship with Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, sharing romantic vacation pictures from the Maldives. He even updated his Instagram bio to include her name. However, their romance was short-lived, and breakup rumors soon followed. While Modi never addressed the split directly, he eventually removed all mentions of Sen from his social media.

Sushmita Sen later spoke about the relationship in a 2023 podcast, dismissing the “gold digger” comments made about her at the time.

Now, with his latest romantic revelation, it seems Lalit Modi has found love once again.
