Home Guard Health Screening Commences

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is set to begin the health screening process for 420 male and female candidates selected for the Home Guard positions. The examinations will be held at the Police Line, Fatehgarh, from October 12, 2026, to October 20, 2026.

A medical board, constituted by the Chief Medical Officer under the directives of the Home Guards Headquarters, Lucknow, will conduct these examinations. Information from the District Commandant Home Guards office indicates that the health checks will start daily at 9:00 AM. Candidates are required to report to the Police Line by 8:00 AM to register their presence.

Streamlined Examination Schedule

To ensure a smooth and efficient selection process, separate dates have been allocated for male and female candidates. Health screenings for male candidates will take place from October 12 to October 18, 2026. Following this, female candidates are scheduled for their medical examinations on October 19 and 20, 2026.

Candidates must report on their designated dates and in accordance with their serial numbers to manage crowds and facilitate a seamless process. This organized approach aims to allow all eligible candidates to complete their examinations without hindrance.

Required Documents and Procedures

Selected candidates must bring all necessary original documents for their health screening. This includes educational certificates, character certificates, domicile certificates, Aadhaar cards, High School mark sheets, relevant affidavits, and four recent passport-sized photographs.

For identity verification, candidates must also present an original copy of their Voter ID, PAN card, or Driving License, along with a self-attested photocopy. Completing the initial formalities at the help desk is also a crucial step.

Consequences of Absence or Incomplete Documents

The District Commandant has emphasized that candidates who are absent on their scheduled date or fail to bring the complete set of required documents will bear full responsibility. The department will not provide any additional opportunities in such cases.

All selected participants are expected to adhere to the timelines and complete the health screening process punctually. This measure is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Home Guard department at the state level and maintaining transparency in the recruitment process. Candidates are also instructed to be fully prepared for the original verification of all their records.
