Mission Shakti Rally Held in Kaimganj

Under the Uttar Pradesh government's 'Mission Shakti' campaign, a grand awareness rally was organized in Kaimganj town of Farrukhabad on the auspicious occasion of Navdurga festival. The primary objective of this rally was to make women and girls aware of their safety, dignity, and self-reliance.

This initiative highlighted a significant step towards women's empowerment at the local level. The campaign commenced from Pulgalib Chowk, with Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Abhishek Verma, Circle Officer (CO) Ajay Verma, and Station House Officer Vinod Kumar Shukla participating in the awareness rally along with the police force.

Emphasis on Safety and Self-Reliance

During the rally, numerous girls, including members of the brave girls' team, Shilki Mishra and Khushboo Mishra, led the procession, displaying banners and placards related to 'Mission Shakti'.

Through this rally, officials provided detailed information to women about their rights and available safety measures. They were assured that they could receive immediate assistance in any situation of insecurity or harassment.

“Mission Shakti is not just a campaign, but a continuous process towards women's empowerment,” stated Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhishek Verma, addressing the attendees.

He also explained how the state government is striving to make women economically self-reliant through various schemes. Self-help groups have proven to be a crucial link in this direction.

Active Participation and Information Dissemination

Women from self-help groups and municipal workers also actively participated in the rally. They distributed pamphlets containing important information about government schemes and women's safety among local citizens.

These pamphlets included helpline numbers, provisions for legal aid, and information about women's counseling centers, enabling women to easily contact them when needed. This step proved extremely effective in spreading information and increasing awareness.

Message of Administrative Commitment

The rally started from Pulgalib Chowk and proceeded through Tehsil Road, Shyamagate, Chowraha, and Prithvidarwaza, reaching Transport Chowk. Officials stopped at various points along the route to interact with people and answer their questions.

Finally, the rally concluded at the police station, where a gathering was organized. On this occasion, administrative officials addressed the assembled crowd, emphasizing that the government is fully committed to protecting the safety and dignity of women. They highlighted the objectives of the 'Mission Shakti' campaign, stating it is a concrete effort towards empowering women and providing them with a secure environment.

“We urge women to come forward for their safety, shedding any fear or hesitation, and play their important role in society,” appealed CO Ajay Verma.

The rally worked to strengthen the sense of security among women and girls and make them aware of their rights, laying the foundation for the creation of a safe and empowered society.
