Pawan Kalyan announces ₹5 lakh ex gratia for two youths killed in road mishap in Kakinada

Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president K. Pawan Kalyan announced ₹5 lakh ex gratia for each of the families of Arava Manikanta (23) and Thokada Charan, who tragically lost their lives in a road accident near Peddapuram in Kakinada district on January 4. The incident occurred when their two-wheeler collided with a van on the Rajamahendravaram-Kakinada road while they were returning from the pre-release event of the movie *Game Changer* held in Rajamahendravaram.

In an official statement, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the government’s commitment to providing support to the victims’ families in addition to the ex gratia from the Jana Sena Party. He stated, “The government will explore all possibilities to offer ex gratia to the two youths apart from ₹5 lakh ex gratia to be offered by the Jana Sena Party.”

Addressing concerns over road conditions, he highlighted the neglect of the Rajamahendravaram-Kakinada ADB road over the past five years and assured the public that it would soon be repaired. Pawan Kalyan further stated his intention to personally travel via the ADB road to reach the Pithapuram constituency, underscoring his commitment to addressing the issue.
