“I’m Only Human, Not God”: PM Modi In Podcast Debut With Zerodha Chief Nikhil Kamath

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his podcast debut on the “People by WTF” series, hosted by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath. During the two-hour episode, PM Modi candidly discussed various aspects of his life, from his childhood and education to his journey in politics, setbacks, and approaches to handling stress and managing policies.

In a notable moment, the Prime Minister acknowledged his human susceptibility to errors, stating, “Mistakes happen, and I too can make some. I am also a human, not God.” This self-reflective comment underscored his humility during the conversation.

The podcast began on a light note, with Kamath expressing concern about his Hindi fluency, given his South Indian roots and upbringing in Bengaluru. He said, “Sir, please forgive me if my Hindi is not good. I learned Hindi in school but lack fluency.” Reassuringly, PM Modi responded, “Hum dono ki aise hi chalegi” (We will manage together like this), easing the conversation.

PM Modi shared personal anecdotes, including memories from his childhood, such as helping his family with household chores. “I used to wash the clothes of all my family members. Because of that, I was allowed to go to the pond,” he recalled, offering a glimpse into his early life.

The podcast trailer, shared by the Prime Minister on X (formerly Twitter), invited audiences with a message: “I hope you all enjoy this as much as we enjoyed creating it for you!”

The episode highlighted a lighter, more personal side of PM Modi, resonating with listeners who appreciate authentic and engaging storytelling.
