YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia Faces Legal Heat Over Controversial Remarks; Police Visit Residence

Mumbai: A team of five police officers arrived at YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s Versova residence on Wednesday afternoon as outrage mounted over his controversial “sex with parents” remark. Multiple cases have been registered against him nationwide, and the parliamentary standing committee on communication and information technology is reportedly considering summoning him.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi condemned the remarks, stating that crossing limits in the name of comedy was unacceptable and vowing to raise the matter in Parliament.

Controversial Remarks Spark Outrage

The backlash stems from Allahbadia’s appearance on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, where his crude questions shocked audiences. He asked a contestant about the “size of his p****,” offered ₹2 crore if he “sucked his d***,” and posed an offensive hypothetical question about watching or participating in parental intimacy.

Following the uproar, Allahbadia issued an apology, admitting his comments were inappropriate and not humorous. “Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry,” he stated.
