Marvel Studios has officially announced that Avengers: Doomsday is now in production. The news, revealed on March 26, was accompanied by an exciting cast announcement, bringing together a mix of returning Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) favorites and new additions.
A Stellar Lineup of MCU Heroes and Villains
Familiar MCU stars reprising their roles include Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Wyatt Russell (US Agent), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova).
Adding to the excitement, Kelsey Grammer is expected to return as Beast from X-Men: The Last Stand, while the Fantastic Four will also be making their MCU debut in the film. The confirmed lineup includes Vanessa Kirby as The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.
The X-Men will have a major presence as well, with James Marsden (Cyclops), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), and Channing Tatum (Gambit) all joining the ensemble.

The film will also introduce Thunderbolts star Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry and Danny Ramirez as Falcon. Additionally, Tenoch Huerta is set to reprise his role as Namor.
