Ram Charan fans were treated to a powerful first-look teaser of his upcoming film Peddi, directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. Released by Vriddhi Cinemas on Sunday, the teaser showcases Charan in a never-seen-before rugged and athletic avatar, exuding raw energy and grit.
In the 1-minute-4-second teaser, Charan is seen walking into a cricket field with a bat slung over his shoulder, a cigarette in his mouth, and a fierce intensity in his eyes. Sporting a thick beard, messy hair, a septum ring, and a gritty look, his entry is met with roaring cheers from a crowd. The teaser peaks as Charan smashes the ball out of the park—marking the arrival of a powerful new character.
The teaser comes shortly after the first-look poster was unveiled on Charan’s 40th birthday (March 27), with director Buchi Babu Sana calling him “Gold” in a heartfelt Instagram post.
