The big announcement was made by Sony TV on X (formerly Twitter), where they posted a picture of the winner with the caption: “After weeks of music, magic, and moments — Manasi didn’t just win a title, she won a million hearts 🖤.”
A Dream Realized
Following the win, an emotional Manasi shared with Indian Express that the reality of her victory still hasn’t sunk in. “My family was here for the finale. They were crying and cheering. I was blank, not knowing initially how to react. But all of us are really happy. Life has changed in a good way. It’s a national platform, so I got a lot of love and blessings from all over,” she said.
Prior to this, Manasi had secured the second position in Super Singer Season 3, and her journey on Indian Idol has cemented her place as a rising star in the Indian music scene.
Plans for Prize Money
When asked about how she plans to use her prize money, Manasi revealed her practical and creative intentions. “I want to use some amount from the prize money on my independent music, and the car I will use,” she said, hinting at a promising future in original music.
A Family’s Pride
A touching highlight from the show featured Manasi’s parents joining her on stage. In a heartwarming segment, they reminisced about her childhood and shared how she bravely shouldered financial responsibilities during difficult times. “She has promised to buy us many houses,” they said proudly, showcasing the deep bond they share.
