Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has announced the postponement of his much-anticipated ‘The Bollywood Big One’ UK tour, originally scheduled for May 4 and 5 in Manchester and London, in the wake of the recent tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives.
Taking to Instagram, the 59-year-old actor wrote, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Bollywood Big One shows, originally scheduled for May 4th and 5th.”
Acknowledging the excitement of his fans, Salman stated that it felt “only right to pause during this time of grief.”
“We sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support. New dates for the shows will be announced shortly,” he added.
The event was set to be a grand Bollywood showcase featuring Salman Khan alongside stars like Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, and Madhuri Dixit Nene.

Earlier, popular singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal also postponed their respective concerts in solidarity with the victims. American comedian Kevin Hart cancelled his ‘Acting My Age’ tour stop in New Delhi as well, citing respect for the ongoing grief.
Pahalgam Attack
On April 22, 2025, terrorists opened fire in Baisaran valley, a popular tourist site near Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The heinous attack resulted in the deaths of 26 people, mostly tourists, with several others injured.
The attack sent shockwaves across India and beyond, with many celebrities and public figures condemning the violence and extending solidarity to the victims and their families.
