Paresh Rawal’s departure from the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 has sparked a legal battle between him and his co-star Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the film. Akshay Kumar’s legal team has accused Paresh Rawal of unprofessional behavior for quitting the project midway.
In response, Paresh Rawal’s legal representatives have contested these allegations, stating that Rawal had genuine and valid concerns regarding the film’s lack of preparedness. They revealed that Rawal never received the film’s screenplay or even a draft of the long-form agreement from Akshay Kumar’s team, which they argue was essential for his involvement in the project.
Paresh’s lawyers further stated, “We have replied to the notice, and Paresh Rawal’s termination is on strong legal footing. They did not deliver the story, screenplay, or a draft of a long-form agreement, which was fundamental to the engagement of our client.” The dispute remains unresolved as both parties prepare for further legal proceedings.
