Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have become proud parents to a baby girl, their first child, born on July 15. The couple shared the joyous news on Wednesday morning through a heartfelt social media post. “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl,” the couple wrote, expressing gratitude to their fans and well-wishers.
Sidharth and Kiara, who starred together in the hit film Shershaah, had announced their pregnancy earlier in February 2025. Since then, they had chosen to keep a low profile, opting to enjoy the phase away from the public eye. Their daughter was born late on Tuesday night, and celebrations soon followed.
The couple received a flood of congratulatory messages from their friends in the industry. Among the first to respond were YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma, Mukesh Chhabra, Athiya Shetty, Sunil Grover, Huma Qureshi, Manish Malhotra, and Tanya Ghavri, who all sent in love and blessings for the new parents.
With this, Sidharth joins his fellow Student of the Year co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the “girl-parent” club. Alia and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter Raha in 2022, while Varun and Natasha became parents to Lara in 2024.
Fans and film fraternity alike are overjoyed for the couple, who tied the knot in February 2023 in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan.
