Aditya Infotech Shares Surge Over 50% on Market Debut

CCTV and security products maker Aditya Infotech enjoyed a blockbuster listing on August 5, with its shares debuting at ₹1,015 on the NSE—over 50% above its IPO price of ₹675. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹1,018, reflecting a 51% premium over the issue price.

The listing propelled the company’s market capitalisation to around ₹11,900 crore. This performance outstripped grey market predictions; unlisted shares had been trading at roughly ₹980, implying a 45% grey market premium ahead of listing, according to Investorgain data.

Aditya Infotech’s ₹1,300-crore IPO, which ran from July 29 to 31, was subscribed over 100 times at the ₹640-675 price band. The offer included a ₹500-crore fresh issue and an ₹800-crore offer-for-sale by the promoter Khemka family, underscoring strong investor appetite for the company’s growth story.
