Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 184 newly constructed Type-VII multi-storey flats for Members of Parliament at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi, at 10 AM on August 11, 2025.
As part of the event, the Prime Minister will plant a Sindoor sapling at the premises, interact with shramjeevis involved in the project, and address the gathering.
The new residential complex has been designed as a self-sufficient facility, equipped with modern amenities and incorporating green technologies. Built to meet GRIHA 3-star rating standards and in compliance with the National Building Code (NBC) 2016, the project emphasizes energy conservation, renewable energy use, and efficient waste management. Advanced construction methods, including monolithic concrete with aluminum shuttering, enabled timely completion while ensuring structural durability.
The complex is Divyang-friendly and built to address the shortage of adequate MP housing, with a focus on vertical development to optimize land use. Each flat offers around 5,000 sq ft of carpet area, including spaces for residential, official, and staff functions. Facilities like a community center and dedicated office areas aim to support MPs in their public duties.
All buildings are earthquake-resistant and feature robust security systems for residents’ safety.
