Gurgaon: In a shocking incident on Sunday morning, unidentified assailants opened fire outside the residence of controversial YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav in Gurgaon’s Sector 56.
According to police, the firing took place between 5.30 am and 6 am, when three masked men arrived on a motorbike and fired multiple rounds before fleeing the spot. While sources claimed around 15 bullets were fired at the building’s first floor, Elvish’s father, Ram Avtar Yadav, stated that nearly 25–30 rounds were discharged.
Elvish, who resides on the third floor of the building, was not at home during the incident. No injuries have been reported.
“Our family was inside the house when the firing happened. I was asleep at the time. CCTV footage shows three miscreants, two of whom are clearly visible. The police administration is doing its job well, and we believe the investigation is being carried out properly,” said Ram Avtar Yadav.
A police team swiftly cordoned off the area, and a probe is underway.
