Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party leader, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, are set to welcome their first child. The couple took to Instagram on Monday to share the joyful news with fans through a heartfelt announcement.

Their joint post featured a beautifully decorated cake placed on a silver platter against a soft beige backdrop, adorned with delicate white flowers. At the center of the cake were golden imprints of two tiny baby feet, along with the inscription “1 + 1 = 3”, symbolising their growing family.
The post also included a short video of Parineeti and Raghav walking hand-in-hand through a park, with their backs to the camera. Captioning the post, the couple wrote:

Raghav’s Earlier Hint
The announcement comes just weeks after Raghav had hinted at their family plans on The Great Indian Kapil Show. During the episode, Kapil Sharma playfully nudged the newlyweds about “good news,” to which Raghav responded with a smile, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge!” Parineeti appeared surprised at the time, but his words now seem prophetic.

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at Udaipur’s Leela Palace Hotel in a wedding that brought together Bollywood stars, political figures, and close family. Since then, the couple has often shared glimpses of their bond, with Parineeti frequently cheering for her husband’s political journey.
