Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Engaged to Rapper French Montana

Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is officially engaged to Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. The news was confirmed by Montana’s representative to TMZ on Wednesday.

The proposal reportedly took place in June during Paris Fashion Week, where the 40-year-old rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, made his runway debut for 3.Paradis’ Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Sheikha Mahra, 31, had ended her first marriage to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum in July 2024. At the time, she announced her divorce in a candid Instagram post, which has since been deleted. In it, she wrote: “Dear Husband. As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you.” The former couple share a one-year-old daughter, whose name has not been revealed publicly.

Rumors of Mahra’s relationship with Montana first surfaced in October 2024, when the two were spotted together at various events and outings, including a walk on the Pont des Arts in Paris, desert camel rides, and dinners in both Dubai and Morocco. Earlier this year, they drew media attention after being photographed holding hands during Paris Fashion Week.

According to reports, Montana proposed shortly after walking the runway in Paris. Both families are said to be supportive of the engagement, though a wedding date has not yet been set.

Sheikha Mahra married Sheikh Mana in May 2023, and the pair welcomed their daughter the following year. She is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and vice president and prime minister of the UAE.

French Montana, best known for his hit songs “Unforgettable” and “No Stylist”, previously dated reality TV star Khloé Kardashian nearly a decade ago.
