Zakir Khan to Scale Back Touring, Cites Health Concerns

Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan has announced that he will be reducing his touring schedule to focus on his health. The 38-year-old shared the update with fans via Instagram, calling it a “difficult but necessary decision.”

Khan, who has spent the past decade performing extensively across India, admitted that the relentless pace had taken a toll on his well-being. “I’ve been unwell for over a year but kept working because it felt necessary at the time,” he wrote, adding that while he loves being on stage, he can no longer ignore his health.

The comedian confirmed that his upcoming Papa Yaar India tour will still go ahead, but on a much smaller scale. The tour, which begins on October 24, 2025, and concludes on January 11, 2026, will cover Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.

Khan also addressed fans in Indore, clarifying that the city would not feature on the tour due to scheduling issues, but urged them to attend his performance in nearby Bhopal.
