External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, currently on his first visit to China in five years, met with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing on Monday. Highlighting areas of cooperation, Jaishankar mentioned the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which has been well received in India. He stressed that continued normalisation of ties could yield mutually beneficial outcomes, especially given the complexity of the current international landscape. “As neighbouring nations and major economies, an open exchange of views and perspectives between India and China is very important,” he added. भोपाल: राजधानी के अशोका गार्डन इलाके में शनिवार रात मोबाइल छीनने की एक और घटना सामने आई। पीड़ित की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने बताया कि अज्ञात आरोपियों ने परिहार चौराहे के पास बाइक से आते हुए युवक का मोबाइल फोन छीन लिया और फरार हो गए। छिना गया मोबाइल करीब ₹20,000 कीमत का बताया जा रहा है। फिलहाल मामले की जांच जारी है। पिछले कई महीनों से ‘मोबाइल स्नैचिंग बेकाबू’ और ‘भोपाल में छीनतई की बाढ़’ जैसे शीर्षक लगातार स्थानीय मीडिया की सुर्खियों में बने हुए हैं। अब पुलिस भी मानने लगी है कि यह सिलसिला खासकर झुग्गी बस्तियों के नाबालिग और युवा वर्ग को अपनी गिरफ्त में ले रहा है, जिन पर सोशल मीडिया और असामाजिक तत्वों का असर बढ़ता जा रहा है। भोपाल पुलिस कमिश्नरेट के अनुसार, शहर में आदतन अपराधियों के खिलाफ नियमित रूप से रोकथाम की कार्रवाई की जा रही है, लेकिन कई मामलों में पकड़े गए आरोपी पहली बार अपराध में शामिल पाए गए, जिनमें नाबालिग भी शामिल हैं। कुछ मामलों में आरोपी अन्य जिलों से आकर भोपाल में वारदात को अंजाम देते हैं। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर उठ रहे सवाल स्थानीय नागरिकों का कहना है कि पुलिसिंग की कमजोर निगरानी और सक्रियता की कमी इन घटनाओं को बढ़ावा दे रही है। हालात इतने खराब हो गए हैं कि अब घरों के अंदर से भी मोबाइल फोन छीनने के मामले सामने आ रहे हैं। ऐसा ही एक मामला ऐशबाग क्षेत्र से सामने आया, जहां 6 जुलाई को एक 19 वर्षीय युवती ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई कि जब वह घर में अकेली थी, तब एक पुरुष और महिला ने घर में घुसकर उसका मोबाइल फोन छीन लिया। ऐशबाग पुलिस ने छीनतई की धाराओं में मामला दर्ज किया है। समाधान की दिशा में ठोस कदम की दरकार इन बढ़ती घटनाओं ने न सिर्फ आम नागरिकों में दहशत फैला दी है, बल्कि पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली पर भी सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इन घटनाओं पर काबू पाने के लिए: जब तक ठोस रणनीति नहीं बनाई जाती, भोपाल में मोबाइल छीनतई की घटनाएं थमने की उम्मीद करना मुश्किल है।

मध्यप्रदेश के 5 ऐतिहासिक स्थलों को यूनेस्को की अस्थायी सूची में शामिल करने का प्रस्ताव, सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को मिलेगा नया आयाम

भोपाल: मध्यप्रदेश टूरिज्म बोर्ड (MPT) ने भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण (ASI) को एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रस्ताव भेजा है, जिसमें राज्य के पाँच ऐतिहासिक स्थलों — असीरगढ़, देवगढ़, रायसेन किला, बाघ गुफाएं और गिन्नौरगढ़ किला — को यूनेस्को की अस्थायी विश्व धरोहर सूची (Tentative List) में शामिल करने की अनुशंसा की गई है। मध्यप्रदेश पहले से ही 18 धरोहर स्थलों का गर्वीला स्वामी है, जिनमें से 3 यूनेस्को की स्थायी सूची में और 15 अस्थायी सूची में हैं। इस नई पहल से राज्य की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत को वैश्विक मान्यता मिलने की उम्मीद है। एमपीटी बोर्ड की अतिरिक्त प्रबंध निदेशक विदिशा मुखर्जी ने बताया, “हमने 12 स्थलों पर काम शुरू किया है, जिनमें से 5 स्थलों के नाम एएसआई को भेज दिए गए हैं। इनके यूनेस्को की सूची में शामिल होने से अंतरराष्ट्रीय पहचान, पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि और राज्य की ब्रांड वैल्यू को मजबूती मिलेगी।” प्रस्तावित 5 धरोहर स्थल और उनका महत्व: 🔹 असीरगढ़ किलाविदिशा जिले की ऊँचाई पर स्थित यह दुर्ग मध्यकालीन सैन्य स्थापत्य का अद्भुत उदाहरण है। इसके मजबूत किलेबंदी और जल प्रबंधन प्रणाली उस काल की उन्नत तकनीकी क्षमताओं को दर्शाते हैं। 🔹 देवगढ़प्राचीन मंदिरों और पुरातात्विक अवशेषों के लिए प्रसिद्ध देवगढ़ भारतीय शिल्पकला की उत्कृष्टता का प्रतीक है। यहां की शिलालेख और मूर्तियां ऐतिहासिक धार्मिक प्रथाओं की झलक देती हैं। 🔹 रायसेन किलापहाड़ी पर स्थित यह किला हिंदू और इस्लामी स्थापत्य शैलियों के संगम को दर्शाता है। इसकी विशाल दीवारें, बुर्ज और महलनुमा संरचनाएं क्षेत्र के स्थापत्य विकास की कहानी बयां करती हैं। 🔹 बाघ गुफाएंबौद्ध धर्म से जुड़ी ये शैल-कट गुफाएं चित्रकला और मूर्तिकला का अनमोल उदाहरण हैं। यह स्थल प्राचीन बौद्ध मठ-जीवन और कलात्मक परंपराओं का प्रमाण है। 🔹 गिन्नौरगढ़ किलायह दुर्ग मध्यकालीन सैन्य शक्ति और निर्माण तकनीक का प्रतीक है। इसकी भौगोलिक स्थिति और किलेबंदी उस युग की रक्षा नीति को उजागर करती है। संरक्षण और पर्यटन को मिलेगा बढ़ावा राज्य सरकार ने इन स्थलों पर संरक्षण और अधोसंरचना विकास के लिए कई कदम उठाए हैं। साथ ही, स्थानीय समुदायों को धरोहर संरक्षण और पर्यटन प्रबंधन में प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है ताकि पर्यटन और संरक्षण में संतुलन बना रहे। इसके अलावा, सतत पर्यटन (sustainable tourism) की दिशा में भी योजनाएं बनाई जा रही हैं। इस पहल से न केवल मध्यप्रदेश की सांस्कृतिक पहचान को वैश्विक मंच पर मजबूती मिलेगी, बल्कि राज्य को एक महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में स्थापित करने में मदद मिलेगी।

घटिया सड़क निर्माण और विवादित डिज़ाइनों के बीच MPPWD ने नए इंजीनियरों के लिए प्रशिक्षण को अनिवार्य किया

भोपाल: मध्यप्रदेश लोक निर्माण विभाग (MPPWD) ने हाल के सड़क और फ्लाईओवर निर्माण में खामियों को लेकर उठे विवादों के बीच अपने नए इंजीनियरों के लिए एक अहम फैसला लिया है। विभाग ने एक सर्कुलर जारी कर सड़क, पुल और फ्लाईओवर के निर्माण और मरम्मत की सही तकनीकों पर आधारित प्रशिक्षण को अनिवार्य कर दिया है। यह प्रशिक्षण भारतीय सड़क परिषद (IRC) के मैन्युअल के अनुसार आयोजित किया जाएगा। प्रशिक्षण पूरा करने के बाद इंजीनियरों को एक आंतरिक परीक्षा देनी होगी। केवल वे ही इंजीनियर जिन्हें इस परीक्षा में सफलता मिलेगी, उन्हें फील्ड पोस्टिंग दी जाएगी। हाल ही में विभाग चर्चा में तब आया जब भोपाल के ऐशबाग रेलवे ओवरब्रिज की बनावट पर सवाल उठे। ओवरब्रिज में तीखा 90 डिग्री मोड़ दिए जाने पर दो प्रमुख मुख्य अभियंताओं सहित आधा दर्जन से अधिक इंजीनियरों को निलंबित कर दिया गया। इसके बाद इंदौर में भी इसी तरह के डिजाइन वाले एक अन्य ओवरब्रिज का मामला सामने आया, जहां दो तीखे मोड़ दिए गए थे। इस पर पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री ने सफाई दी कि यह डिज़ाइन पीडब्ल्यूडी मैनुअल के अनुसार है और मोड़ 114 डिग्री का है। इसी बीच, राजधानी भोपाल सहित अन्य शहरों में बारिश के शुरुआती दौर में ही नई सड़कों पर दरारें और गड्ढे उभर आए, जिससे सड़क निर्माण की गुणवत्ता पर सवाल खड़े हो गए। जब मंत्री से इस पर प्रतिक्रिया मांगी गई, तो उन्होंने कहा, “जब तक सड़कें हैं, गड्ढे भी रहेंगे। दुनिया में कहीं भी ऐसी तकनीक नहीं है जिससे गड्ढा-मुक्त सड़कें बन सकें।” इस बयान पर भी काफी आलोचना हुई। विभाग के एक मुख्य अभियंता ने इस सर्कुलर की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा, “हां, सर्कुलर जारी किया गया है। IRC मैनुअल में निर्माण और मरम्मत की सभी तकनीकी जानकारी और मापदंड दिए गए हैं, लेकिन नए इंजीनियर इसे ठीक से पढ़ नहीं रहे हैं। इसलिए यह प्रशिक्षण और परीक्षा अनिवार्य की गई है ताकि वे मैनुअल को गंभीरता से पढ़ें और समझें।” इस पहल का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि भविष्य में डिज़ाइन संबंधी गलतियों और घटिया निर्माण कार्य की पुनरावृत्ति न हो, और इंजीनियर आधुनिक मानकों के अनुरूप कार्य करें।

एयर इंडिया हादसा: प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट में विमान या इंजन में कोई तकनीकी खराबी नहीं – सीईओ कैंपबेल विल्सन

भारत में 12 जून को हुए भीषण हवाई हादसे के एक महीने बाद एयर इंडिया के सीईओ कैंपबेल विल्सन ने कहा है कि हादसे की प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट में विमान या उसके इंजनों में कोई यांत्रिक या मेंटेनेंस से जुड़ी गड़बड़ी नहीं पाई गई है। अपने कर्मचारियों को भेजे एक पत्र में उन्होंने मीडिया में चल रही अटकलों और अफवाहों पर नाराज़गी जताई और सभी से आग्रह किया कि वे इन अनुमानों पर ध्यान देने के बजाय रिपोर्ट में सामने आए तथ्यों पर भरोसा करें। सीईओ ने लिखा, “प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि विमान और उसके इंजन में कोई तकनीकी या मेंटेनेंस से जुड़ी समस्या नहीं थी। सभी आवश्यक मेंटेनेंस कार्य समय पर पूरे किए गए थे। ईंधन की गुणवत्ता में कोई कमी नहीं थी और टेक-ऑफ के दौरान भी कोई असामान्यता नहीं पाई गई।” उन्होंने बताया कि दोनों पायलटों ने उड़ान से पहले आवश्यक ब्रीथ एनालाइज़र परीक्षण पास किया था और उनकी चिकित्सकीय स्थिति में भी कोई समस्या नहीं पाई गई थी। इस दर्दनाक हादसे में लंदन जा रहे विमान में सवार 241 यात्रियों और चालक दल के सदस्यों की मृत्यु हो गई थी, जबकि जमीन पर भी 30 लोगों की जान चली गई थी। एएआईबी (Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau) द्वारा जारी प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, विमान के फ्यूल स्विच बंद कर दिए गए थे और इंजनों को दोबारा स्टार्ट करने की कोशिश की गई थी। रिपोर्ट में किसी प्रकार की साजिश या बर्ड हिट के संकेत नहीं मिले हैं। हालांकि नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री राम मोहन नायडू ने स्पष्ट किया है कि यह रिपोर्ट केवल प्रारंभिक निष्कर्षों पर आधारित है और अंतिम रिपोर्ट का इंतजार किया जाना चाहिए। सीईओ विल्सन ने कर्मचारियों से कहा, “रिपोर्ट में किसी निष्कर्ष या सिफारिश का उल्लेख नहीं किया गया है। जब तक अंतिम रिपोर्ट सामने नहीं आती, हमें किसी निष्कर्ष पर नहीं पहुंचना चाहिए। हमारी प्राथमिकता जांच में पूरा सहयोग देना और अपनी जिम्मेदारियों पर केंद्रित रहना है।” उन्होंने आश्वस्त किया कि हादसे के कुछ ही दिनों के भीतर एयर इंडिया के बेड़े में मौजूद सभी बोइंग 787 विमानों की जांच की गई थी और वे सभी सेवा के लिए उपयुक्त पाए गए। उन्होंने अंत में कहा कि एयर इंडिया के मूल्यों — ईमानदारी, उत्कृष्टता, ग्राहक-केंद्रित सोच, नवाचार और टीमवर्क — को बनाए रखते हुए हमें अपने मिशन पर अग्रसर रहना चाहिए।
