महाविद्यालय के निदेशक पर चार छात्राओं ने लगाया अश्लील व्यवहार का आरोप, पुलिस जांच में जुटी

एक शहर-स्थित कॉलेज, जो पहले बलात्कार और ब्लैकमेलिंग के एक गंभीर मामले को लेकर चर्चा में रह चुका है, अब फिर विवादों में है। इस बार कॉलेज की चार छात्राओं ने उसके निदेशक पर अनुचित और अश्लील व्यवहार का आरोप लगाया है। छात्राओं का कहना है कि जब वे अपनी कम उपस्थिति के मुद्दे पर बात करने के लिए निदेशक से मिलने गईं, तो उन्होंने अभद्रता की। आरोप है कि निदेशक ने व्यक्तिगत मुलाकात के दौरान उन्हें अनुचित तरीके से छुआ और दोहरे अर्थ वाले अश्लील संवाद किए। इन छात्राओं ने, जो भोपाल और अन्य जिलों की निवासी हैं, कुछ दिन पहले पिपलानी थाना में अलग-अलग लिखित शिकायतें दर्ज कराई हैं। शिकायत में उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी कक्षा में बायोमेट्रिक अटेंडेंस प्रणाली ठीक से काम नहीं कर रही थी। जैसे-जैसे परीक्षा नजदीक आई, उन्हें बताया गया कि उनकी उपस्थिति अपर्याप्त है और वे परीक्षा में शामिल नहीं हो सकेंगी। जब उन्होंने यह मुद्दा कॉलेज के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के समक्ष उठाया, तो उन्हें निदेशक से सीधे मिलने की सलाह दी गई। इसी दौरान हुई व्यक्तिगत मुलाकातों में कथित रूप से यह दुर्व्यवहार हुआ। छात्राओं का कहना है कि कॉलेज स्तर पर समाधान नहीं मिलने के बाद ही वे पुलिस के पास गईं। फिलहाल आनंद नगर पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी संतोष रघुवंशी मामले की जांच कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि निदेशक और कॉलेज के अन्य स्टाफ के बयान जल्द ही दर्ज किए जाएंगे। गौरतलब है कि यह वही कॉलेज है, जो पहले एक छात्रा के साथ हुए बलात्कार और ब्लैकमेलिंग के मामले में चर्चा में आया था। उस समय राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (NCW) ने भी कॉलेज का दौरा कर महिलाओं की सुरक्षा से जुड़े दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए थे। यह मामला एक बार फिर शिक्षा संस्थानों में छात्राओं की सुरक्षा और प्रशासनिक पारदर्शिता पर गंभीर सवाल खड़ा करता है।

भोपाल नगर निगम की अतिक्रमण विरोधी कार्रवाई तेज, बरसात से पहले साफ-सफाई पर जोर

भोपाल नगर निगम (BMC) ने वर्ष 2025 में अवैध कब्जों के खिलाफ अपनी कार्रवाई को तेज कर दिया है। निगम ने अब तक 97 कार्रवाई अभियान चलाए हैं। इन कार्रवाइयों का उद्देश्य सार्वजनिक स्थलों को पुनः प्राप्त करना और शहर के सौंदर्यीकरण को बढ़ावा देना है। हालांकि, इन अभियानों को लेकर स्थानीय नागरिकों की प्रतिक्रिया मिली-जुली रही है। कमर्शियल क्षेत्रों, फुटपाथों और सड़कों पर अवैध दुकानें और ठेले लगने से आमजन को चलने में कठिनाई हो रही है और ट्रैफिक जाम जैसी समस्याएं उत्पन्न हो रही हैं। 25 मई को BMC ने विभिन्न इलाकों में बिना लाइसेंस वाले विक्रेताओं और ढांचों को हटाने का अभियान शुरू किया ताकि पैदल चलने वालों को सुविधा मिल सके। हालांकि शुरुआत में यह अभियान सफल रहा, लेकिन कुछ ही दिनों में विक्रेता वापस लौट आए, जिससे कार्रवाई की प्रभावशीलता पर सवाल उठने लगे। 27 मई को जवाहर चौक और लिंक रोड पर किए गए अतिक्रमण विरोधी अभियान के तहत सड़कों को खाली कराया गया। हालांकि, हटाए गए विक्रेता आसपास के क्षेत्रों में शिफ्ट हो गए, जिससे समस्या का स्थानांतरण मात्र हुआ। ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट (GIS) की तैयारियों के दौरान BMC ने शहर के 20 स्थानों पर अतिक्रमण हटाया, जिनमें हलालपुर बस स्टैंड और आगंतुक आवास स्थल शामिल थे। इन प्रयासों का उद्देश्य शहर को व्यवस्थित और प्रस्तुत करने योग्य बनाना था। हालांकि, आवासीय क्षेत्रों में यह अभियान सीमित रहा। बैरागढ़ और कोलार मार्केट जैसे इलाकों में अभी भी अवैध कब्जे की समस्या बनी हुई है। बरसात के मौसम को देखते हुए यह अवैध ढांचे और भी खतरनाक साबित हो सकते हैं, क्योंकि ये जल निकासी व्यवस्था में रुकावट पैदा कर रहे हैं। करोंद मंडी और भानपुर में अस्थायी निर्माण कार्यों के चलते जल निकासी मार्ग अवरुद्ध हो गए हैं, जिससे भारी बारिश के दौरान जलभराव की आशंका बनी हुई है। BMC ने इन क्षेत्रों में कुछ अवैध प्लेटफॉर्म हटाए हैं, लेकिन अधूरी कार्रवाई से खतरा अभी भी बना हुआ है। निगम ने करोंद, अमन कॉलोनी, बडवाई और बैरागढ़ में अवैध स्टॉल, टेबल और ढांचे हटाकर फुटपाथ को खाली कराया। लेकिन कुछ ही समय बाद विक्रेता फिर से अपने स्थान पर लौट आए, जिससे अभियान का प्रभाव सीमित रहा। इन परिस्थितियों में नगर निगम की यह चुनौती बनी हुई है कि कैसे इन कार्रवाइयों को स्थायी और प्रभावी बनाया जाए, विशेषकर जब बरसात जैसे संवेदनशील समय नजदीक हो।

Three Punjabi Youth Held Captive in Iran by Traffickers, Families Face Extortion Demands

A distressing case has emerged involving three youngsters from Punjab—hailing from Hoshiarpur, Sangrur, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar districts—who have been held captive in Iran by traffickers demanding large sums of money from their families for their release. The youths were reportedly duped by illegal travel agents promising work visas for Australia. Gurdip Kaur, mother of 23-year-old Amritpal Singh from Bhagowal, lodged a complaint with the police stating that two agents from Piplanwala, brothers Dheeraj and Kamal Attwal, had lured her son with the promise of securing a work permit visa for Australia. She said they took ₹18 lakh as an advance payment. Amritpal, along with Husanpreet Singh from Sangrur and Jaspal Singh from SBS Nagar, boarded a flight from Delhi on May 1. On May 2, Amritpal called his mother from Iran to inform her that he had reached the country and would soon be sent to Australia. However, within an hour, he called again to say that he and the other two had been held captive by traffickers who claimed they had not been paid by the agents and were demanding hefty sums from the families. Gurdip described how the traffickers made video calls from the youths’ phones while brutally beating them, insisting that each family transfer ₹18 lakh via MoneyGram for their release. When her family tried to contact the travel agents for help, they found that the agents had fled and their phones were switched off. Following her complaint, the Model Town police registered an FIR against the accused agents and one of their employees. According to Station House Officer Gursahib Singh, efforts are underway to arrest the absconding agents, though no arrests have been made yet.

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) has urged the central government to treat the Mumbai and Navi Mumbai airports as a single unit for tariff calculations, according to documents reviewed. If approved, this proposal could equalize airport charges for passengers and airlines across both facilities—potentially boosting traffic at the soon-to-be operational Navi Mumbai airport, which is critical to AAHL’s strategic plans. Despite both airports being under AAHL’s ownership, tariffs such as passenger user fees, landing, and parking charges are expected to be significantly higher at Navi Mumbai, a greenfield airport built with an investment of ₹16,700 crore. In contrast, Mumbai airport is already an established facility with depreciated assets and lower capital expenditure. The disparity in charges may discourage airlines from relocating to Navi Mumbai, which is set to begin commercial operations in July. To support its case, AAHL has cited the 2021 amendment to the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) Act, which allows grouping of airports into a single economic entity—a move originally aimed at facilitating the privatization of smaller, loss-making airports by linking them with profitable ones. A person familiar with the matter noted, “Since there has been a large capital invested in Navi Mumbai… naturally tariff at the airport will be significantly higher than Mumbai. If both airports’ tariffs are calculated as one unit, the charges at both airports will be the average of the two, bringing parity.” AERA sets airport tariffs every five years based on operators’ capital expenditure, operational costs, depreciation, and non-aeronautical revenue, ensuring reasonable profit margins for airport operators. However, the higher cost structure at Navi Mumbai poses a challenge to drawing in airlines unless incentives or tariff equalization is implemented. The proposal comes amid resistance from airlines, particularly after the International Air Transport Association (IATA) accused the Adani Group in March of leveraging its control over both airports to forcibly divert traffic to Navi Mumbai to jumpstart operations. Compounding the urgency, AAHL plans to renovate Terminal 1 of the Mumbai airport beginning in October. This revamp is expected to shift around 15 million passengers to Terminal 2 and Navi Mumbai, underscoring the need for smooth operations and airline cooperation at the new facility. Adding to the business incentive, the revenue-sharing terms are more favorable at Navi Mumbai. While Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) shares 38.7% of its gross revenue with the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Navi Mumbai International Airport Ltd (NMIAL) is only required to share 12.6% with the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO). Neither the Adani Group nor the Ministry of Civil Aviation have issued a public response to the proposal so far.

भोपाल नगर निगम (BMC) के जन्म-मृत्यु पंजीकरण कार्यालय में बुधवार को उस समय अफरा-तफरी मच गई जब नए शुल्क लागू होने के पहले दिन सैकड़ों लोग प्रमाण पत्र बनवाने के लिए उमड़ पड़े। दोपहर 2 बजे के बाद सर्वर क्रैश हो जाने से प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह बाधित हो गई, जिससे लंबी कतारें लग गईं और आवेदकों में भारी नाराज़गी देखी गई। नगर निगम ने अब पूरी प्रक्रिया को ऑनलाइन कर दिया है, जिसमें डिजिटल आवेदन और भुगतान अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। पहले जो रसीद आधारित ऑफलाइन प्रक्रिया थी, उसे पूरी तरह खत्म कर दिया गया है। लेकिन दोपहर बाद सर्वर फेल हो जाने से हर आवेदन में 10–15 मिनट की देरी होने लगी, जिससे भीड़ संभालना मुश्किल हो गया। BMC के कर्मचारी इस अचानक आई भीड़ से निपटने में पूरी तरह पस्त नजर आए। भीड़ लगातार बढ़ती रही और शाम होते-होते हालात और बिगड़ गए। तकनीकी ढांचा फेल, पारदर्शिता की कोशिश बनी परेशानी जहां यह डिजिटल बदलाव पारदर्शिता और प्रक्रिया में सुधार लाने के उद्देश्य से किया गया है, वहीं इसने निगम की तकनीकी तैयारियों की पोल खोल दी है। सर्वर की अस्थिरता और अतिरिक्त शुल्क भुगतान की बाध्यता ने लोगों की परेशानी और स्टाफ का बोझ दोनों बढ़ा दिए हैं। अब हर अतिरिक्त प्रति के लिए ₹50 का अलग भुगतान करना पड़ता है, जिससे प्रक्रिया और जटिल हो गई है। भीड़ की असली वजह: नया सरकारी आदेश अधिकारियों के अनुसार, हाल ही में सरकार द्वारा जन्म प्रमाण पत्र को आधार, पासपोर्ट और स्कूल एडमिशन के लिए अनिवार्य कर दिए जाने से अचानक आवेदनों की संख्या बढ़ गई। 2016 से प्रमाण पत्र मुफ्त जारी किए जा रहे थे, लेकिन निगमायुक्त हरेंद्र नारायण द्वारा मंगलवार को जारी एक स्थायी आदेश के तहत शुल्क फिर से लागू कर दिया गया, जिससे लोग अचानक आए बदलाव से अनजान थे। नई शुल्क संरचना अधिकारी का बयान जन्म-मृत्यु पंजीकरण कार्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार सत्यप्रकाश बदगैंया ने फ्री प्रेस से बात करते हुए बताया कि सभी एकत्रित शुल्क सांख्यिकी विभाग के खाते में प्रतिदिन बैंक चालान के माध्यम से जमा किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने सर्वर में आई गड़बड़ियों को स्वीकारते हुए कहा कि बढ़ती मांग को देखते हुए अब एक बेहतर और मजबूत डिजिटल प्रणाली की आवश्यकता है।
