Two terrorists were gunned down this morning in an encounter in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, just days after security forces eliminated the three men responsible for the brutal April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. मध्यप्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने एक महिला रसायन शास्त्र (केमिस्ट्री) की प्रोफेसर की अपील को खारिज कर दिया, जिसे सत्र न्यायालय ने अपने पति की करंट लगाकर हत्या करने के मामले में आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई थी। यह मामला तब चर्चा में आया जब प्रोफेसर ममता पाठक द्वारा स्वयं अपनी पैरवी करते हुए कोर्ट की कार्यवाही का एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो गया। वीडियो में प्रोफेसर ममता यह तर्क देती नजर आईं कि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में थर्मल बर्न और इलेक्ट्रिकल बर्न को अलग करना संभव नहीं होता जब तक कि उसकी केमिकल एनालिसिस न की जाए। इसलिए, उनके अनुसार, पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में उनके पति की मौत का कारण करंट लगना बताया गया है, जो कि भरोसेमंद नहीं माना जा सकता। जब पीठ में से एक न्यायाधीश ने उनसे पूछा कि क्या वह केमिस्ट्री की प्रोफेसर हैं, तो उन्होंने सिर हिलाकर ‘हां’ में उत्तर दिया। 28 अप्रैल 2025 को सुनवाई के बाद, हाई कोर्ट की डिवीजन बेंच ने फैसला सुरक्षित रखते हुए उनकी सजा को अस्थायी रूप से निलंबित कर दिया था। हालांकि, अंतिम निर्णय में अदालत ने सजा पर लगाया गया स्थगन हटा दिया और ममता पाठक को ट्रायल कोर्ट में आत्मसमर्पण कर बाकी सजा भुगतने का आदेश दिया। कोर्ट ने निचली अदालत के फैसले को बरकरार रखते हुए कहा कि 2021 की घटना के दिन की घटनाओं की श्रृंखला यह स्पष्ट करती है कि उस दिन उनके घर कोई नहीं आया था। यह ममता पाठक ही थीं जिन्होंने अपने पति डॉ. नीरज पाठक को पहले किसी नशीले पदार्थ का सेवन कराया और फिर जब वह बेहोश हो गए तो उन्हें करंट लगाकर मार डाला। इस प्रकार, हाई कोर्ट ने यह मानते हुए कि आरोपी की भूमिका स्पष्ट है, उनकी अपील को खारिज कर दिया और सजा पूरी करने का निर्देश दिया।

इंजीनियर कपिल शर्मा की हत्या का खुलासा: दो आरोपी गिरफ्तार, वेतन वृद्धि और अपमान बना हत्या का कारण

भोपाल के सुखी सेवनिया थाना क्षेत्र में एक अंधी हत्या का पुलिस ने मंगलवार को खुलासा किया। पुलिस ने इंजीनियर और बिल्डर कपिल शर्मा (45) की बेरहमी से हत्या करने के आरोप में दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। मृतक का शव 6 जुलाई को पिपलिया जाहिरपीर गांव में एक सुनसान स्थान पर उसकी कार के अंदर मिला था, जहां उसका गला रेता हुआ था। कपिल शर्मा, जो बाग सेवनिया क्षेत्र के निवासी थे, 3 जुलाई से लापता थे। उनकी पत्नी ऋचा ने गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई थी। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए ग्रामीण पुलिस अधीक्षक प्रमोद कुमार सिन्हा ने विशेष जांच टीम (SIT) गठित की और मामले की जानकारी देने वाले को ₹10,000 का इनाम भी घोषित किया। पूछताछ के दौरान, पुलिस ने कपिल के गोदाम में सुरक्षा गार्ड के रूप में काम करने वाले दीपक साहू उर्फ लल्लू को हिरासत में लिया। SHO रामबाबू चौधरी के नेतृत्व में पूछताछ में दीपक ने हत्या की बात कबूल की और बताया कि उसने अपने साले पप्पू अर्मा उर्फ शर्मा के साथ मिलकर वारदात को अंजाम दिया। दीपक ने खुलासा किया कि 3 जुलाई को कपिल ने उसे अंडरपास पेट्रोल पंप के पास मिलने बुलाया था। वहां कार में बैठकर शराब पीते समय कपिल ने एक बार फिर से उन्हें अपशब्द कहे और अपमानित किया। इस पर गुस्से में आकर पप्पू ने पीछे से कपिल का गला रस्सी से दबाया और दीपक ने स्टील कटर से उसका गला रेत दिया, जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। हत्या के बाद दोनों ने कपिल का लैपटॉप, प्रिंटर, सोने की चेन, झुमके, सोने की टॉप्स, एप्पल मोबाइल फोन और नकद रुपए लूट लिए और मौके से फरार हो गए। पुलिस ने आरोपियों से लूटे गए सभी सामान बरामद कर लिए हैं। वेतन और अपमान बना हत्या की वजह SP सिन्हा के अनुसार, दीपक साहू जो हबीबगंज का निवासी है, मृतक कपिल शर्मा के यहां मजदूरी करता था और उसे मात्र ₹1,500 मासिक वेतन मिलता था। कई बार वेतन बढ़ाने की मांग करने पर कपिल उसे अपमानित करता था। इसी अपमान और वेतन से जुड़ी नाराजगी को दीपक ने अपने साले के साथ साझा किया और दोनों ने मिलकर हत्या की साजिश रच डाली। क्राइम शोज से ली प्रेरणा दीपक ने पुलिस को बताया कि उसने हत्या से पहले कई क्राइम थ्रिलर फिल्में और वेब सीरीज़ देखीं थीं। हत्या के वक्त दोनों आरोपियों ने दस्ताने पहन रखे थे ताकि घटनास्थल पर उनके फिंगरप्रिंट न मिलें।

A total of 200 roads, including 121 in Mandi alone, are closed, while 62 power transformers and 110 water supply schemes have been disrupted, according to the State Emergency Operation Centre. Weather Alerts and Continuing Monsoon Woes The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated parts of Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu districts on Tuesday. A yellow alert is in effect for Chamba, Shimla, Sirmaur, Una, Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu districts through Wednesday. Since the monsoon onset on June 20, Himachal Pradesh has suffered ₹1,523 crore in losses. So far, 90 people have died, 35 are missing, and 1,320 houses have been fully or partially damaged in rain-related incidents. Leaders on the Ground Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, along with DC Apoorva Devgan, visited the disaster site in Mandi on Tuesday to oversee rescue and relief efforts.

Top Lashkar Terrorists Killed in Operation Mahadev; Shah Confirms Role in Pahalgam Attack

Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed in Parliament that three top terrorists from the Pakistan-based proscribed group Lashkar-e-Taiba were eliminated in Operation Mahadev, launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The key mastermind was identified as Suleiman, while the other two were named Afghan and Jibran. Reports of their deaths surfaced after an intense encounter near Srinagar on Monday. However, their involvement in the Pahalgam attack was officially confirmed only on Tuesday. Shah revealed that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had already arrested individuals who had sheltered the terrorists. “The arrested individuals were shown the bodies and identified them as the ones involved in the Pahalgam attack,” Shah said. To ensure foolproof confirmation, forensic tests were conducted on the bullet shells recovered from the Pahalgam attack site. The guns seized from the terrorists during Operation Mahadev were sent overnight to a lab in Chandigarh, where ballistic analysis confirmed that the ammunition matched the crime scene. “That confirmed their identities even further, and we were convinced,” Shah added. He stated that Operation Mahadev was launched the same night as the Pahalgam incident. The encounter on Monday began around 11 am, when a joint team of the Army, paramilitary forces, and police detected terrorist movement in the Mulnar area of Harwan, near Srinagar. Acting swiftly, the security forces engaged in a heavy exchange of fire in the Lidwas forested region, resulting in the elimination of all three terrorists. The success of Operation Mahadev is being seen as a major breakthrough in counter-terrorism efforts in the Kashmir Valley.
