Army Rescues Four After Flash Floods in Himachal’s Kinnaur District

The Indian Army rescued four civilians, including one injured, after flash floods struck parts of Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district, an official statement said on Thursday. The floods, triggered by a cloudburst on Wednesday evening, hit the higher reaches of the Rishi Dogri valley and submerged a bridge across the Sutlej river. The affected site was an active road construction zone under the CPWD towards Gangthang Bralam. Acting on an urgent request from the Kinnaur superintendent of police, the Army swiftly mobilised a Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) column. Braving darkness, strong currents, and unstable terrain, the team reached the site and found four civilians stranded on the far bank of the river. The HADR team illuminated the area for night rescue operations and moved the civilians to higher ground. The injured person was evacuated and admitted to the Regional Hospital in Reckong Peo. To sustain the stranded individuals overnight, the Army deployed the Logistics Drone High Altitude (LDHA) system to deliver essential supplies, including food and coconut water, across the floodwaters. The rescued civilians were taken to the Army camp in Pooh, with plans to bring them back to the home bank once water levels recede.

The executive order also mentions that tariffs could be revised if a bilateral deal is reached—implying a pressure tactic to align with U.S. geopolitical interests. Goods already in transit to the U.S. before August 7 will be allowed to pay previous rates (10%) until October 5, 2025, except for steel and aluminium (already taxed at 50%) and a few tariff-exempt items like smartphones. GTRI warned that this move could cause India’s goods exports to the U.S. to drop by 30%, from $86.5 billion in FY2025 to $60.6 billion in FY2026. The most impacted categories are: These sectors are especially vulnerable due to high import content and low domestic value addition. The new tariffs, which range from 10% to 41% for other countries, will be in addition to standard Most Favoured Nation (MFN) rates, significantly increasing the cost of Indian goods in the U.S. market. Alongside India, other nations facing steep tariffs include Brunei, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Tunisia. Rajasthan School Building Collapse: 4 Children Dead, 17 Injured in Jhalawar Tragedy

सुखी सेवनिया के एक सुनसान इलाके में कार से बरामद 46 वर्षीय इंजीनियर की मौत हत्या थी, इस बात की पुष्टि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में हुई है। प्रारंभिक जांच में पुलिस को आशंका थी कि व्यक्ति की मृत्यु दिल का दौरा पड़ने से हुई है, लेकिन चार दिन बाद आई रिपोर्ट में खुलासा हुआ कि मृतक कपिल शर्मा का गला तेजधार हथियार से रेतकर हत्या की गई थी। इसके बाद अज्ञात आरोपियों के खिलाफ हत्या का मामला दर्ज किया गया। सुखी सेवनिया थाना प्रभारी रामबाबू चौधरी के अनुसार, 6 जुलाई को पुलिस को जानकारी मिली थी कि जाहिर पीर गांव के पास बिजासन फार्म के नजदीक एक कार में अज्ञात शव पड़ा हुआ है। पुलिस जब मौके पर पहुंची तो शव पूरी तरह से सड़ चुका था और उस पर कोई स्पष्ट चोट के निशान नहीं दिखे थे। बाद में मृतक की पहचान संत आशाराम नगर निवासी कपिल शर्मा के रूप में हुई, जो पेशे से सिविल इंजीनियर थे और रियल एस्टेट के काम में भी जुड़े थे। जांच में पता चला कि कपिल 3 जुलाई की रात से लापता थे। उनकी पत्नी ऋचा शर्मा, जो उस दिन मायके से लौटी थीं, घर में उन्हें न पाकर चिंतित हुईं और जब फोन से भी संपर्क नहीं हो पाया तो उन्होंने पुलिस में गुमशुदगी दर्ज कराई। पुलिस पूछताछ में यह भी सामने आया कि कपिल को आखिरी बार उनके मित्र दीपक कुशवाहा के साथ रात 10 बजे तक देखा गया था। इसके अलावा, कपिल का कुछ लोगों के साथ पैसों को लेकर विवाद भी चल रहा था। बताया गया कि कपिल ने अपनी पहली पत्नी की मृत्यु के बाद ऋचा से दूसरी शादी की थी। पुलिस उनकी निजी और पेशेवर जिंदगी से जुड़े तमाम पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है। फिलहाल पुलिस ने कुछ संदिग्धों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है और हत्या के आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है।

घरेलू हिंसा से उबरी महिलाएं अब जल्द ही डिलीवरी एजेंट और बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेटर के रूप में सड़कों पर नजर आएंगी। यह पहल ‘सक्षम परियोजना’ के तहत शुरू की जा रही है, जो एक्शन एड एसोसिएशन और महिला मंच फाउंडेशन (MMF) की संयुक्त पहल है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं को ऐसे क्षेत्रों में रोजगार और प्रशिक्षण देना है, जो अब तक पुरुष प्रधान माने जाते रहे हैं। प्रारंभ में, गौरवी वन-स्टॉप क्राइसिस सेंटर से जुड़ी लगभग 30 महिलाओं को स्कूटर चलाने का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा और उन्हें ब्लू डार्ट, ज़ोमैटो, स्विगी, रैपिडो जैसी नामचीन कंपनियों के साथ काम करने के लिए तैयार किया जाएगा। इस अभियान की शुरुआत भोपाल से होगी और बाद में इसे इंदौर में भी लागू किया जाएगा। एक्शन एड इंडिया की सौम्या सक्सेना ने कहा,“यह पहल न केवल महिलाओं को स्थायी रोजगार के अवसर देती है, बल्कि डिलीवरी प्लेटफॉर्म जैसे क्षेत्रों में उन्हें प्रतिनिधित्व दिलाकर लैंगिक रूढ़ियों को भी तोड़ती है।” प्रशिक्षण में स्कूटी चलाना, सड़क सुरक्षा और सॉफ्ट स्किल्स शामिल होंगी, जिससे महिलाएं आत्मनिर्भरता, आत्मविश्वास और गतिशीलता हासिल कर सकेंगी। पहली बैच में लगभग 15 महिलाएं शामिल होंगी और स्कूटी चलाने के लिए प्रशिक्षक की नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया जारी है। जल्द ही एक खुला स्थान चिन्हित किया जाएगा जहां प्रशिक्षण सत्र आयोजित किए जाएंगे। सौम्या ने बताया कि इससे पहले महिलाओं को ऑटो और टैक्सी चलाने का प्रशिक्षण देने के प्रयास हुए थे, लेकिन वे अपेक्षित परिणाम नहीं दे सके। उन्होंने कहा,“महिलाएं ऑटो या कैब सेवाओं में सहज महसूस नहीं करतीं। बाइक या स्कूटी उनके लिए ज्यादा अनुकूल माध्यम है।” यह अभियान महिला सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जो न केवल उन्हें आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत बनाएगा, बल्कि समाज में उनकी भूमिका को भी नई पहचान देगा।

मध्यप्रदेश कैबिनेट के अहम फैसले: ‘मुख्यमंत्री वृंदावन ग्राम योजना’ को मंजूरी, भोपाल में राष्ट्रीय रक्षा विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना

मंगलवार को हुई राज्य मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में कई महत्वपूर्ण फैसलों पर मुहर लगाई गई। इनमें ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने हेतु ‘मुख्यमंत्री वृंदावन ग्राम योजना’ की स्वीकृति दी गई। इस योजना के तहत हर विधानसभा क्षेत्र से एक ऐसे गांव का चयन किया जाएगा जिसकी जनसंख्या कम से कम 2000 हो और 500 से अधिक गायें हों। योजना के अंतर्गत गौ पालन, पर्यावरण व जल संरक्षण, सौर ऊर्जा का उपयोग, चारागाहों का विकास और बुनियादी ढांचे को सुदृढ़ करना शामिल है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य गौपालन और डेयरी विकास को बढ़ावा देना तथा स्वरोजगार आधारित ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करना है। योजना के अंतर्गत छह श्रेणियों में सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। भोपाल में बनेगा राष्ट्रीय रक्षा विश्वविद्यालय राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने भोपाल के गांधी नगर में राष्ट्रीय रक्षा विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना को सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति प्रदान की है। इसके लिए तीन वर्षों तक प्रति वर्ष ₹1.5 करोड़ की राशि उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। स्थायी परिसर के लिए राजीव गांधी प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय (RGPV) से 10 एकड़ भूमि हस्तांतरित की जाएगी। जब तक नया भवन नहीं बनता, तब तक RGPV की उपलब्ध इमारत का उपयोग विश्वविद्यालय संचालन के लिए किया जाएगा। पिछड़ा वर्ग छात्रों के लिए हॉस्टलों में मैस सुविधा कैबिनेट ने पिछड़ा वर्ग कल्याण विभाग के अधीन 108 छात्रावासों में मैस शुरू करने को सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी दी। इन छात्रावासों में कुल 9050 छात्र रहते हैं। इसके लिए सरकार ने ₹31 करोड़ का बजट स्वीकृत किया है। एफएसएल में नए पदों को मंजूरी राज्य कैबिनेट ने मध्यप्रदेश फॉरेंसिक साइंस लैब (FSL) के लिए 1266 नए पदों की स्वीकृति दी, जिनमें 202 वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी शामिल हैं। यह निर्णय प्रदेश में फॉरेंसिक जांच प्रणाली को मजबूत बनाने की दिशा में अहम कदम माना जा रहा है। जर्जर पुलों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए ₹4572 करोड़ मंजूर कैबिनेट ने 2025-26 से 2029-30 तक की अवधि में कुल 1766 क्षतिग्रस्त पुलों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए ₹4572 करोड़ की सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति दी है। इन पुलों को ऑल वेदर रोड्स से जोड़ा जाएगा, जिससे परिवहन व्यवस्था में सुधार होगा और आपदा के समय राहत कार्य आसान होंगे। इन फैसलों को राज्य सरकार के विकास, रक्षा, सामाजिक कल्याण और अधोसंरचना सुधार की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास माना जा रहा है।

विदिशा में स्मार्ट मीटर बना सिरदर्द: 69 लाख का बिजली बिल देखकर बुजुर्ग अस्पताल में भर्ती

मध्यप्रदेश के विदिशा जिले में स्मार्ट मीटर से जुड़े बिलिंग घोटाले ने हड़कंप मचा दिया है। 65 वर्षीय मुरारीलाल तिवारी को 69.75 लाख रुपये का बिजली बिल मिलने के बाद ब्लड प्रेशर बढ़ गया और उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराना पड़ा। यह मामला अकेला नहीं है—शहर में दर्जनों लोगों को लाखों रुपये के फर्जी बिजली बिल थमाए गए हैं। 219 यूनिट खपत, लेकिन 69 लाख का बिल होम गार्ड रोड निवासी मुरारीलाल तिवारी अपनी पत्नी के साथ रहते हैं और बहुत कम बिजली उपयोग करते हैं। उनके स्मार्ट मीटर में सिर्फ 219 यूनिट खपत दर्ज हुई थी, फिर भी उन्हें पिछले महीने 69.75 लाख रुपये का बिल थमा दिया गया। तिवारी ने बिजली विभाग में लिखित शिकायत दी, लेकिन कोई जांच नहीं हुई। उल्टा, इस बार के बिल में ₹1 लाख का जुर्माना भी जोड़ दिया गया। पड़ोसी को भी 68 लाख का बिल तिवारी के पड़ोसी महेन्द्र सिंह रघुवंशी को भी ₹68 लाख का बिल मिला है। यही नहीं, अज्ञा राम कॉलोनी जैसी झुग्गी बस्तियों में रहने वाले मजदूर परिवारों को भी लाखों के बिल दिए गए हैं, जबकि वे हर महीने सिर्फ ₹100 से ₹200 का बिजली बिल चुकाया करते थे। बिना जानकारी लगाए गए स्मार्ट मीटर स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि स्मार्ट मीटर बिना किसी पूर्व सूचना या सहमति के लगाए गए थे। उन्होंने बिजली विभाग और प्रशासन से कई बार शिकायत की, लेकिन कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई। बिजली विभाग ने बताया ‘सॉफ्टवेयर गड़बड़ी’ बिजली विभाग के अधिकारियों का कहना है कि बिलिंग सिस्टम में सॉफ्टवेयर की गड़बड़ी के कारण यह समस्या आई है। अब तक लगभग 15 ऐसे मामले चिह्नित किए गए हैं जिनमें भारी त्रुटियां पाई गई हैं। स्मार्ट मीटर केंद्र सरकार की एक योजना के तहत लगाए गए थे, जिसका उद्देश्य पारदर्शी और सटीक बिलिंग सुनिश्चित करना था। नागरिकों में गहरा रोष, जांच की मांग तेज इस पूरे मामले ने शहरवासियों में गुस्सा फैला दिया है। नागरिक संगठन और स्थानीय लोग इस मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग कर रहे हैं, ताकि दोषियों पर कार्रवाई हो और उपभोक्ताओं को राहत मिल सके।

मेयर मालती राय का विरोध: जनप्रतिनिधियों पर लगाए गए आरोपों को बताया अपमानजनक, फाइल ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम की मांग

भोपाल की मेयर मालती राय ने शासन द्वारा जनप्रतिनिधियों पर फाइल प्रक्रियाओं में देरी के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराए जाने को लेकर कड़ा ऐतराज जताया है। उन्होंने नगरीय प्रशासन एवं विकास विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव संजय शुक्ला को एक पत्र लिखकर इन आरोपों को “अपमानजनक” और “अस्वीकार्य” बताया है। यह पत्र गुरुवार को उस परिपत्र के जवाब में लिखा गया, जिसे 28 मई को निदेशालय द्वारा जारी किया गया था। उक्त परिपत्र में महापौरों और महापौर परिषद (MIC) के सदस्यों को प्रशासनिक विलंब के लिए दोषी ठहराया गया था। मेयर राय ने पत्र में लिखा कि बिना किसी ठोस आधार के चुने हुए जनप्रतिनिधियों पर दोष मढ़ना न केवल उनके सम्मान को ठेस पहुंचाता है, बल्कि वास्तविक समस्याओं से ध्यान भी भटकाता है। उन्होंने कहा, “सभी महापौर और अध्यक्ष नगर निगम अधिनियम 1956 के अंतर्गत अपने कर्तव्यों से भली-भांति परिचित हैं। वे जनहित में कार्य करते हैं और मुद्दों का शीघ्र समाधान करने का प्रयास करते हैं।” राय ने यह भी कहा कि कई मामलों में फाइलें महापौर परिषद से स्वीकृत होने के बाद भी आयुक्त और अन्य अधिकारियों की निष्क्रियता के कारण अटक जाती हैं। ऐसे में महापौरों को दोषी ठहराना भ्रामक है। उन्होंने 10 दिन में सभी फाइलों के निपटान का निर्देश देने वाले शासनादेश पर भी आपत्ति जताई और उसे अव्यवहारिक तथा ज़मीनी हकीकत से कटा हुआ बताया। पारदर्शिता जरूरी: राय मेयर मालती राय ने सुझाव दिया कि नगरीय प्रशासन विभाग को फाइलों की गति पर निगरानी रखने हेतु एक डिजिटल ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम लागू करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा, “इस प्रणाली में स्पष्ट रूप से दिखना चाहिए कि कौन अधिकारी फाइल रोककर बैठा है और कितने समय से। इस प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता आने से हर स्तर पर जवाबदेही तय हो सकेगी।”
