Electricity Department Camp for Consumer Grievances in Narsinghgarh

The Cliff News | Narsinghgarh | October 9, 2026 The Electricity Department of Narsinghgarh has announced a special contact campaign on Saturday, October 10, 2026, aimed at the swift resolution of consumer complaints. This camp will be held at the Community Hall, Surajpol, near Jai Stambh, and is specifically designated for residents of wards 03 and 04 of the city.

Services Offered at the Camp

Under this special initiative, the electricity department will provide consumers with a range of services. These include the issuance of new electricity connections, load modifications, name or category changes, temporary connection facilities, completion of e-KYC processes, and obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOC).

Furthermore, consumers can find solutions to their billing-related issues, such as incorrect or excessive billing, meter complaints, smart meter difficulties, voltage fluctuations, frequent power outages (tripping), and any transformer-related problems. Technical faults concerning service cables and poles will also be addressed on-site.

Scheduled Power Outage for Maintenance

On the same day, October 10, 2026, essential maintenance and upkeep work will be conducted in the city. Consequently, the electricity supply from the 11 kV Tehsil Feeder will be interrupted for approximately four hours, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This shutdown is expected to affect areas including Thawariya, Bada Bazaar, Ravji Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, and Ramkund. Residents in Phoolbag, Mangalwariya, Surajpol, Lankapuri, and Berasia Road will also experience power disruptions during this period. The electricity department has appealed to citizens to exercise patience and cooperate with the department's operations.

This contact campaign serves as a significant platform for consumers to directly present their electricity-related issues to department officials and obtain prompt and effective solutions.
