Major Breakthrough in Shiv Sharma Murder Case

Police have achieved a significant success in the much-publicized murder case of businessman Shiv Sharma. The main accused, Shraddha Dubey, along with her sister Rashmi and driver Danish, have been apprehended in Nagpur.

Accused Sent on Transit Remand

The Nagpur District Court has granted a 72-hour transit remand for all three accused. Subsequently, a joint team comprising Lucknow Police and Uttar Pradesh STF is transporting them from Nagpur to Lucknow for further investigation.

Fugitives on the Run

Notably, Shraddha Dubey managed to evade the police for 11 days after Shiv Sharma's murder. Sources indicate that after the incident, she fled to Nepal with her sister Rashmi and driver Danish. They crossed the border via Rupaidiha in Bahraich and subsequently changed multiple hiding places in Nepal, seeking refuge in small hotels.

Reward Announced for Arrest

A reward of ₹50,000 each was announced for the capture of the accused. The police identified Shraddha Dubey as the primary conspirator in the Shiv Sharma murder case. After the murder, she and her accomplices attempted to flee the crime scene and destroy evidence.

Joint Operation Leads to Arrest

Before their arrest, the trio continuously changed their location, fleeing towards Nepal through various states. In a joint operation, Lucknow Police and Uttar Pradesh STF, with the cooperation of Nagpur Police, apprehended them in Nagpur on Tuesday. This arrest was part of a well-planned operation where the UP STF received assistance from the local Nagpur police.

Further Investigation Underway

The three suspects were apprehended while attempting to conceal themselves. Their identification and the subsequent swift action by the police led to this crucial arrest, marking a new turn in the investigation. Following the Nagpur court's approval of the transit remand until October 25, the three accused will be brought to Lucknow for intensive interrogation.

Unraveling the Mystery

Police aim to uncover all the secrets surrounding the case and identify any other potential accomplices. It is expected that many questions related to the murder will be answered during the interrogation. The purpose of the transit remand is to allow authorities to question the accused at the location of the crime and verify collected evidence.

Planning the Interrogation

Upon their arrival in Lucknow, police will seek to understand how the murder was planned, who carried out the act, and who else might have been involved. The police will determine the course of further action based on the statements of Shraddha Dubey, Rashmi, and Danish.
