Three suspects arrested in connection with the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff have been remanded to police custody until October 31.

Accused Remanded to Police Custody
The three individuals arrested in connection with the shooting incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff have been sent to police custody until October 31 by the Kila Court in Mumbai. This court decision allows the police to interrogate the accused and delve deeper into the entire case.
Investigation into Intermediaries and Arms Smuggling
The investigation suggests that the threads of this incident extend from Amritsar to Mumbai. The police are actively examining arms movements, the role of intermediaries, and efforts to aid the attackers in their escape. The incident occurred on the evening of October 18, following which the police swiftly apprehended several individuals.
Further Arrests in Arms Supply Chain
Sources indicate that intermediaries played a significant role in the arms supply chain. Efforts to help the attackers flee the city post-incident are also under scrutiny. Meanwhile, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police has arrested four more individuals for allegedly supplying weapons and assisting the attackers in their escape.
Identities of New Suspects
The newly arrested individuals have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19) from Sonipat district in Haryana, and Radha (23) and Babita (23) from Sitapur and Azamgarh respectively in Uttar Pradesh. These arrests were made in the national capital, expanding the scope of the investigation.
Kunal's Alleged Role in Arms Procurement
According to investigators, the alleged role of these four individuals in the movement of weapons is being examined. Preliminary inquiries reveal that Kunal had recently been released on bail. He contacted Anil Pandit through a friend, after which they began communicating via an encrypted messaging app.
Arms Transported from Amritsar to Mumbai
The Delhi Police allege that, at Anil Pandit’s behest, Kunal procured a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar, with Sumit accompanying him. The police stated that Kunal met Radha about two months prior to the incident. He allegedly informed her about his activities and later convinced her to travel to Mumbai with the weapons.
Weapon Handover and Hotel Stay
On October 15, Kunal took Radha and Babita to the New Delhi Railway Station, where the pistol was reportedly placed in Radha’s bag. On October 17, Radha and Babita arrived in Dadar and checked into a hotel. Around 11 AM that same day, a juvenile boy collected the bag from Radha near the hotel.
Tracing the Weapon's Path
The police are now investigating who received the bag subsequently and how the same weapon was used in the firing incident. The shooting took place on the evening of October 18. According to the Delhi Police, Anil Pandit informed Kunal after the incident that the shooters were stranded in Mumbai and allegedly asked him to arrange their exit.
Escape Plans and Subsequent Arrests
On the same day, Radha and Babita reportedly departed from Dadar to Delhi via the Haridwar Express. These women were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station on October 20, while Kunal and Sumit were taken into custody in Sonipat. Post the firing incident, the accused allegedly fled to Surat in Gujarat, from where they boarded a train bound for Jaipur.
Disrupted Escape and Further Investigations
Their alleged plan was to travel to New Delhi by bus and then escape to Nepal. However, their plan was thwarted due to police vigilance. The Mumbai Police have successfully arrested three accused from Kota in Rajasthan in connection with this case, who were directly involved in the incident. Investigations are also underway regarding the potential involvement of the Bishnoi gang in this case.
